Live in rural upstate New York, Georgia native, new beekeeper, bees ordered and coming on May 2 to a local beekeeping supply store. Looking forward to learning from ya'll!

Hi there. Good that they are coming to a store. Some down here got dead bees due to USPS's problems right now.

Kidding... born and raised in Western NY, made it down to TN a few years ago, should have moved sooner!
So by Rural upstate you must mean passed White Plains? LOL! I kid... I'll be here all week folks, try the veal.

Welcome!   You won't find a friendlier bunch of beekeepers. 
How did the installation go?   How many hives did you start out with?
