 and the one in the middle is a bit of plastic cleverly disguised as a queen excluder.   they do however make wonderful gadgets to create excellent environment for the small hive beetle.

The size of it reminds me of the ones in the floor of the house I grew up in.  We used to sit on top of it with out blankets over us till mom yanked it off and made us get ready for school >:( >:(

Yes maple leaf hopper. A wise man once said to use is to scrape is to clean is to combine.  A balance of 2 is found in the one.  Use a queen wire instead of the propolis traps.

   My MOTHER once told me to NEVER stand on one of those in a nightgown and pass gas.. had to do with the rising heat and all.. since I never intended to wear a nightgown I figured I was SAFE!

my queen excluder are the wood bound ones, never liked the thought of the ultra thin plastic or even the zinc  excluders  the propolis trap    never used one only seen pics lol.
