Title: Looking for Goats Milk and Honey Soap Recipe
Post by: The15thMember on June 21, 2021, 07:00:36 pm
My sister's goats are producing enough milk now that we have a surplus to experiment with.  She is looking for a recipe for an easy soap using goats milk and honey.  Anyone have a good one?

Go to www.homesteadingtoday.com

Search for MullersLaneFarm under soap making. She can give you all the info you ever want on soap making and more.

I saw a demonstration on goat's milk soap making.  She used powdered goats milk because it was pasturized.  It's been a few years and I don't remember exactly.  I think that's hogwash because people have been using goat's milk in soap making for millennia.
I am on this publications email list.  They are always posting all thing goat as well as beekeeping articles.  https://backyardgoats.iamcountryside.com/ (https://backyardgoats.iamcountryside.com/)

I'll check both these out, thanks.

I agree.  Pasteurization has no place in my home-grown/homemade vocabulary.
