I’m banking on them calming down soon, Lee. It’s a shame we can’t make bees instantly calm...
I've found that a 'flat' bee is instantly calm  ;)

But I don't think I want 6,000 flat bees.  I guess I could ship them all to Flat Stanley and let him deal with them.

"Yes.  That's when he assured me he wasn't afraid of bees and told me the story of getting stung when his veil ripped.
Oh, he also let me know he is a former Marine.
I wonder if there's a reason they used to be referred to as "Jarhead"?"

a marine?........okay marine's in my family.......i get it.............. :D

just kidding, invite him to the forum or send him the link of my adventure in transporting bees in a buick.......
A new standard on how not to transport bees

sometimes transporting bees does not always involve just being stung by a honey bee or two or three OR a car load..... just add a ticket or two or three from a very annoyed state trooper. it will change one's mind on transporting bees IN a vehicle........ :D

lol lee, FLAT BEES?
i keep wild things in a box..........™

I was once strongly advised by a retired Marine that there are no former Marines.  Once a Marine, always a Marine.  :-[

the Marines are the red headed step children of the US Navy.... always somewhat embarrassed to admit your kinship but very happy when they show up and you are in a tight spot.  Some of my best friends have been marines but they would have all done better had they joined the US Navy.  > boot camp joke> do note the symbol on the hat of a Marine... in the Navy we would say it is a crow, setting on a beach ball and wishing it was (deleted profanity) in the US Navy.

I always thought the Navy was referred to as the "Cheer" team by the Marines.
