PD and Bees
« on: February 17, 2018, 06:59:50 pm »
I’ll put this here, since I think of PD, my midi-dachshund as a kid replacement.

PD is 13,and moves rather slowly thanks to old age and arthritis. He come int the kitchen a bit quicker than usual yesterday afternoon, accompanied by the sound of an angry bee. After chasing him down I spotted a bee stuck to his butt, about an inch down from his tail. The bee freed herself and buzzed around the kitchen while I removed the stinger.

PD never cried, just kind of took it in stride.

Frank, however, our rescue mini dachshund hid himself under my desk, shivering at the sound of the bee. He’s been stung before, but not this time.

I’m thinking about contacting Crusoe, the Celebrity Dachshund’s owner and asking if he can whip up a couple more of these for me:

I think a modification might be needed. In the video, Crusoe’s tail is out and wagging. Might look like a target to a bee.

On edit: How did autocorrect get “oily” out of “out”?
