2017 North American Mite-A-Thon
« on: August 15, 2017, 05:47:00 am »
http://pollinator.org/miteathon
The Pollinator Partnership is hosting a national effort to collect data in North American over the one week period beginning September 9, 2017.  The info collected will be posted on www.mitecheck.com.
This sounds like a worthwhile effort with no cost to the beekeeper.  As good beekeepers, we were all going to do mite checks anyway. Right?  This means taking a few minutes to report your findings.
I'm going to participate.  How about you?

Will be interesting to watch the map and see where and at what levels the infestation rates are.
