That's what life is all about. Enjoy the good times and work through the bad.

Congrats.

I wonder, do your girls appreciate the attention you are giving them.  If they give you a good crop of honey, it just might answer that question. :)

They seem happy and very busy. It is calming and fascinating to watch them.

A nice restful scene.

With that pest protection it looks like other critters enjoy your bees and hives.

Shouldn't there be a think balloon above your head ---- "What else do I need to guard against ?"   ;D

It makes me think how lucky I am in my area.

   NICE!!
I have to agree Ward..   I really enjoy sitting by the hives, drink in hand watching the bees come and go. Best way I have found to just relax. Sitting in the boat while wetting a line comes in second..  Why second?  I have to get the boat ready, the cooler, the fuel, the bait, get the boat in the water, get to the fishing spots..........    Get the boat OUT of the water, clean the boat, clean the fish etc..   With bees, I just sit..  when the wife wakes me up all I have to do is go in the house   ;D

Jen, that looks like you may have just finished the cutout. I know that's how I felt after my big cutout. Minus the adult beverage. Diet Dr. Pepper for me!
