wandering man started a thread "for my frozen friends".............
so i thought i might share with the southerners or others not experiencing our snow fall a couple pix....

Well I must say you have larger ice crystals than we have.
Or maybe just smaller jeeps.
Either way, it looks cold.

i was shoveling snow off the deck, the jeep is a matchbox replica of a 1999 jeep wrangler, looks similar to what i drive.
mr. river came home to find me photographing this and says to me:
"hmmm, do you need a really stiff cold beverage or a trip to a doctor's office?"

Your snowbank picture tickled my memory and a story from Alaska. One of my coworkers was retiring from the Air Force. His last duty station was with us in Alaska. We asked him where he would settle after moving back to the 'Lower 48'...He answered, "I'm strapping a snow shovel on the grill of my pickup and driving South until someone asks me what it is". ;)

lee, i am guessing you did the same?!............. :D :D :laugh: you are from WYOMING,
and as i remember, learned to lean into the wind and still doing it in texas?!........... :D :D :laugh:

as far as our weather, happy to not be in 100 degree temps like lee, oh my stars, and i won't snicker lee!
we are about 3-4 weeks behind on blooms, dandy's just started popping up....

someone overdid the sun dance, already in the 90's here! Had a swarm yesterday too... bees went from starving to swarming in about three weeks!

wasn't me.........was it?..........heck i can't remember, i was whining about the snow but this is crazy! we have TEXAS weather in wisconsin.....
not less than 95 d f since last thursday and topped at 104 yesterday. memorial weekend is typically cold and rainy.
wasn't this year. searing hot and humid, made me sweat before i even went outside........... :D
we couldn't even enjoy cooling off in the river, rains further north flooded the river like crazy and all sorts of floating objects rolling around.
i don't know how you southern beeks tolerate the heat and humidity......i can barely tolerate it when it hits 90..... makes me want to go back to the mountains of montana. i think it's the humidity that really gets to me.

I think it helps if you don’t see snow more than once every 10 years.
