Cough syrup recipe

I came across this cough syrup recipe in a 3-Ingredient Cookbook. 
1/3 C. Honey
1/3 C. Olive Oil
1/3 C. Lemon Juice
Combine, mix, and store in a container with a tight lid.  Take 1 teaspoon for cough when needed.

Any thoughts?  Anyone have a better recipe?
I think I would refrigerate the container because of the lemon juice.

I’m kinda with Iddee on this one.   My choice for the three ingredients would be honey, water and yeast :-)

I just don't see the need to make something that sounds like it would taste gross, when honey is just as good and doesn't taste gross.
