Yes, it is exciting.  I am with river when I say it wears me out following everyone around.  I am pleased with what I see on this site and what you guys have done with it already.  This will be my new home as of today.  I just wish I could transfer all of my hard work in posting from you know where.

On that subject Iddee, what about having an archived section for how to's, do it yourself and even old trap out's, cut outs and the like?  And heck, there are even some classic post that I hate leaving behind.  Or, do we just start from scratch with current events?  Maybe this was not an appropriate place to start this conversation but looked like good opening to do so.

It is comforting to know many of you are here that were my cyber mentors who were absolutely essential in my first two years of keeping and continue to be so.

Thanks, Dave

I know how you feel about all those posts Dave. Maybe sometimes change is as good as a rest?  :)

The first thing I did was open this one and the other one in two tabs. Then started copy/pasting my trapout posts. You might not want to copy all the replies, but you can copy/paste your ops and get a new set of replies. The ops belong to you.

dave, all i know, the last stop......SHEESH..... snarky folks over in that universe....very happy to be here!  iddee let me in late one night to take a peek, and it felt like 'home'. pretty cool.  anyway, you can recreate posts dave, and think of all the hard work the admins, mods and long time members like perry put in.  a  great new start here, there will be new beeks coming in, just starting out or looking for what we all are, a friendly place to talk bees and other interests.  you will be able to answer questions for and post your pix, and make new friends, and btw, if you post something, we will all pretend we never read it or saw it before........

most of all, the admins and mods that are here and started this CARE about this forum, enjoy and are devoted to helping beekeepers out. :D

dave,
what iddee said about your posts somewhere else.  i have a program in firefox called 'print edit', you can bring up any web page, and edit out what you don't want, and keep only what you want to keep, and print it out, and/or print it to a pdf file. works slick.  i use bullzip for a pdf program, lots of features, light on resources and you can copy and paste quite easily from the program and more.  so if there is a post elsewhere on another forum, just hit the 'show printable version'  either copy and paste into your preferred word program, or give the print edit thing a try, then paste here!

I do want to remind everyone, your ops on other forums are yours. The replies are not. Please leave the replies over there. We don't want to be accused of plagiarism.
