My husband and I have 2 hives that we started last spring.   I really enjoy working with them and learning about them.

:welcome: Glad you found us. Wandering Man has told us all about you, including stuff most of us found hard to believe. Check out the archives (unless he's quickly gone back and removed everything).

We like to have fun here as well as talk about bees. ;)

The screen name 3reds came from 3 redheads in our family.   Our 2 sons are redheads and they got their red hair  from me, at least my hair use to be red.  :)

She didn't tell you the other half of the reason for 3Reds. We used to fish the bays around Aransas Pass, when AP was our home. The limit for redfish (usually just called "reds") was 3.

We felt like we had a good day fishing if we came home with a few speckled trout and our
limit on reds.

So, 3Reds works on both levels.

we all know 3reds runs the house. Get real.  I am a red fish guy myself. On outerbanks we refer to them as Puppy Drum  or Red Drum depending on size. I will have over 100 people at my fish fry in May on reds that we caught in November on the outer banks of NC.

Welcome 3reds.  Love it

3Reds used to teach business to high school students before I made her quit her paying job and come be my business manager.

Now I'm semi retired and she's still managing ALL of my business!

... and I'm glad she does it  ;D
