Working the goldenrod.
« on: August 18, 2017, 07:31:31 am »
The bees seem to have jumped on the goldenrod much earlier than I recall. They normally wait till near the end of August but they have been all over it for the last couple of weeks.
Hard for them to do when it's windy like it was yesterday though. :D

Nice video, Perry!  Wow!  Your goldenrod is blooming?  Ours is just starting to bloom down here.  There are over 200 species of Goldenrod in North America.  Not all goldenrod is worked by honey bees.  Unfortunately, the Goldenrod in this neck of the woods is not the kind honey bees like.
Glad your bees will work it.
