robo, here's a phone number to call them and ask:

"For questions regarding setup, claim transmission, patient eligibility or other issues, call the LoyaltyScript® for EpiPen® program at 800-657-7613 (8:00 AM-8:00 PM EST, Monday-Friday)."

also, i can say this, if you are under the care of an allergist, your allergist/immunologist recieves and keeps a stock of these cards on hand to give out, or just ask.  if you are not under the care of an allergist, and have a prescription written by your physician, your pharmacy will also have a supply of these cards on hand, just ask for one, they also give them out...... ;D

hope this helps.

hey capn, thanks for posting and bringing this up again!

i was going to post a reminder for this as a reminder, or for new members that have joined our forum not aware of the offer. thank you for doing so.
just renewed my own prescription and no co-pay.  eppy's are expensive even with insurance, but this offer sure makes it nice to take advantage of.

thanks for your post, i appreciate knowing someone could benefit from it!

My doctor prescribed one after my latest sting. My insurance covered 100% but the cost was over $800 for the two pack. Crazy

I've got to get a couple of these soon. I'm going to Nicaragua on a mission trip to teach beekeeping and would feel more comfortable having them. Especially working with africanized bees. Thanks for posting.

thanks zweefer!  you beat me to it, it has been extended!

yes ken, sorry, those who are on any federal or state funded program are not eligible, which really is bs, because those are the folks who really cannot afford to fork out the full amount for an eppy, and sometimes cannot afford the reduced payment the federally funded program provides for.
makes no sense to me.  give it across the board, regardless.  wow, that might cost them some money?

I read that they went from $100 to $400 and now $600 next year because of one company stop making them.

The price jump in the epi pen is all over the news here.  The version I heard was that the patent is on the verge of running out and they are trying to recoup their investment.  I am so glad that no one in the family has a severe allergy.

Less than 2.00 to make and selling for 600.00? I would say they recouped their investment and a few billion more, over the deaths of some who couldn't buy them.

Pharmaceutical Companies in the U S of A seem to have a monopoly on drugs? I thought they (our law makers) was going to open the borders for other countries to compete like Canada? Did they get bought off? Does Canada charge for EPI PENS? Jack

In the For What It's Worth category, here is a petition to sign regarding the price of Epipens. The petition will be delivered to the CEO of Mylan.  I don't know if it will do any good, but it only takes a moment to do.
http://petitions.moveon.org/sign/stop-immoral-price-gouging?akid=168459.16288043.oGGGZB&rd=1&source=mo&t=2

Under the sign the petition box, be sure to uncheck the receive updates and future mailings, or your inbox will get something almost daily.
