Even raccoons like to wrestle

What you would expect when a trail cam is set up at a feeding station. Feeding wildlife is an offence up here in Canada.

Apis,
Not sure where the pic came from, but feeding wildlife is perfectly legal here. Many hunters spend a fortune on timed release corn feeders.
I don't, primarily because I'm cheap.
:) :)

keith, this is laugh a little........ :P
what neil said. here in wisconsin feeding wildlife is legal but there are regulations. i guess different than in canada.
we do have trail cameras set up around our property for various reasons, but we primarily enjoy the pix we capture of all the different birds, raptors, wildlife. some critters we have never seen or never thought we had.
we don't feed any wildlife, well it depends...... :D we do feed the birds, other critters enjoy. no matter what i do to my huge bird feeder 10 to 12 feet off the ground, i get turkeys, raccoons and pheasants sitting in there and bears trying to climb up the post.
some other things we do, might include piling apples up that fall from the trees, or throwing some corn out in the winter for all critters. they have plenty to snack on in our gardens during summer months..... :D
winters are tough and i am a softie, especially for the species like grouse and pheasants that have it pretty rough here, and want to keep them prospering. we also do this by providing habitat for them. it's all about land management for us and we enjoy the critters.
EDIT AND ADD:
raccoons, even though many despise them or because they can be problems are incredibly smart and very adept creatures. i have raised many raccoons from babies and am simply amazed at what they are capable of good and bad.

Depending on the species, wildlife can be legally baited in Canada. Bear are commonly baited for hunting and large bait stations are routinely used to trap (mostly snare) coyotes. Given the array of wildlife Canada has to offer, I'd guess there would be many unique critters caught on trail cams north of the border. I have one set up in our apple orchard and it captured a bobcat sneaking up on a rabbit a few years ago. The cool thing is that bobcats are not supposed to be in this part of the state.

Game cameras is what offered first proof mountain lions are back in the state of Kansas. they were seen on trail cams well before one was sited. Our KDWP would not verify it until they saw the cat themselves in the wild. It was when one was hit by a car that they finally admitted we had them again

chip,
bobcats are not 'reportedly' to be found in our area either, until my hunter captured a couple pix of a healthy bobcat roaming around last january. he recently captured some video of it and one of my neighbors has seen it about 3 times in the past few months, near our residence during daytime hours.
anyway, couple pix from last january...not mine, my hunter, don't laugh and a little fuzzy. when he first showed me the pix on his pc, i asked him to send me the pix, so what does a guy do that is pc challenged? he brought the pix up on his pc......took a screenshot of the photos from his fancy phone and then sent them to me............... :D
anyway, pretty cool to learn we have a wandering bobcat on the property!

Bobcats are cool. I also had a trail cam pic of a mountain lion the year we had the bobcats. I was at a meeting and mentioned the lion to our new state fur bearer biologists and she said, yeah, they're getting more and more common. I then mentioned the bobcats and she didn't believe me till I showed her the pics! Didn't catch him/her on a trail cam but I found fisher tracks in the snow a couple of years ago. Maybe I'll get a pic this year. They are way cool 8) 8)
