Hello from the Heart of Dixie
« on: December 29, 2013, 09:38:14 pm »
Hello all. I am from Waverly, Al. I started keeping bees last spring so this is my first winter. I really hope my bees make it. I did not take any honey this first year so they should have plenty of stores. I plan to add four more hives this spring. I look forward to learning from each of you.

G3's been nipping again, too much cough syrup in the coffee!

Welcome Dan
This is a great place to hang around and ask questions. Plenty of experience and friendly folks with many of the answers you may need. We've all started at one point, so we know there is no such thing as a "dumb" question (only the ones that don't get asked).

Thanks everyone. I am especially looking forward to this spring because my teenage son has shown a great deal of interest in the bees so he is going to take a beginners class and we are going to get him his own hives to manage.  As a matter of fact that is actually him in the avatar not me!!!

Ken,

Yes we have met. Look forward to seeing you at the next meeting. Do you know if any of our other members are present here?
