Feeding Honey From Other Locations To Our Own Bees

I do know not to feed honey from other sources to my own hives, but have forgotten the reason behind that..?

Possible spread of AFB spores--the reason for digging a ditch and burning/burying honey frames of hives that have AFB before other bees can rob the infected hive.
