Jacksonville, 62650 to be exact, county seat of Morgan County

About 90 miles N of St. Louis, 35 miles west of Springfield, 60 miles east of Hannibal MO and 90 miles south of Peoria

Been 'messing with bees' since age 12.

Good grief, that's 55 years.............

Hey, I spent 10th grade going to Collinsville HS (maybe 1967 - 1968?). We lived halfway between Edwardsville and Collinsville!

Welcome to "Worldwide".
Glad to see your hives so close to the Old Barn.  As I read it, it means that your bees are nice and sociable. 
I wonder sometimes, if positioning hives like that doesn't serve as an effectice form of protection from thieves.
