Hi Everyone,
If anyone makes their own waxed wicks with tabs I'd appreciate any tips or how to's regarding your process. It seems like it should be pretty straight forward, but I've made THAT mistake before. :'( I'm thinking of using the round wick tabs. Thanks, Ted

Hi,
I've made my own wax-dipped candle wicks. I used the round tabs. They come in different sizes so I made sure that my wick matched the tab size. I used kitchen twine for the wicks, first soaked in water, borax and salt then dried and dipped in wax. Once dried, cut to size and inserted in the round tab they made great wicks with a strong and long-lasting flame.
Hope that helps!
