Salt supplement
« on: July 12, 2015, 08:03:30 am »
I put a ham on the smoker last weekend. After transferring it from the cutting board I removed the extra seasoning, mostly salt, on the ground. I have noticed bees in this spot ever since. It is at least 100 feet from my hives. Are they telling me they need salt and if so what kind. Regular table salt? Thanks in advance for your input!

All animals need salt, including bees. They get it where they can find it.

My bees were gathering sweat off my hands yesterday, for the salt I suppose. OR...... I'm soooo sweet it oozes out of me.
