Different lake. Search for BADIN lake. 35 miles from my house, but we have a 28X60 3 bedroom doublewide mobile there now. 80 Lb. plus catfish.
Small pond.......Only 5,350 acres.  8.359 square miles  surface area.

Iddee, if water temp. is getting near 50°, the crappie will start moving into the shallow water.

Picking them up at 12 to 14 feet. Water temp. just below 50.

Want be long then. When 50°-55° they'll move up to 4-5 ft.  They are probably rite now hanging at the ph neutral line in the water. Are you using jigs or minnows?

When I used to crappie tournament fish, we followed the ph lines. Using a color selector with ph meter.

Both, plus hooking a minnow on a leadhead.

We used both also. We'd find ph line 7-7.5 , use 15-18 rods (different lengths) and slow troll, fishing just above and below 7-7.5. We used paint pen marks on braided line. I'd run 3 off port 3 off starboard and 2 off transom. It was very tricky to do especially with wind conditions and boat traffic. Once crappie depth was found, then I'd drop down to 4 rods. My shortest rods were snoopy kids fishing poles

Small pond?     :o    NICE!  I def want to fish that!  TED, you up for another road trip? We can take the toon down, and avoid riding with Wally...  something about the squealing tires as we went around that one corner in his truck made my ears hurt.....   I think I leaked a little pee tooooo

I found the picture.....   Richard Petty in a pickup!!!   that air freshener wasnt off to the side for no reason.. and check which lane were in!   I'm glad Ted was in the front.. I admit, he did good, he never screamed or acted scared.. TED has NERVES of steel!
Me? i was on the floor in the back with my eyes closed.....
