Welcome, Shell.  :welcome: Glad to have you with us.
The picture you posted for your avatar looks real purty.
Could you tell us a bit about yourself?  It's not essential, but it helps us to get to know you and think of you as more than "just" a name.

Welcome aboard.  This is a forum made up of positive, polite and friendly people.  You won't get any better advice than from this group.  We have an infamous beekeeper from Missouri, his handle is Brooksbeefarm.  We will expect you to behave better than Brooks.  :):)  That is not setting the bar very high.  Seriously, if Brooks is close to you he would be an invaluable resource.  Again, welcome aboard.

well lets see, working in insurance for the 14th year, looking forward to have enough hobbies to keep me busy if and when I do get to retire! lol. getting antsy to check my hives this Sunday. did a small split that had me worried so when we watched our lovely year old hive swarm we gathered them up and dumped into the small split, now it's VERY STRONG! these little critters make me want to watch and learn all day and plant more, it keeps my husband busy. lol. two wonderful kids and the oldest is turning 16 Monday. YICKS! he's raising 4h pigs, we have horses, a small cattle herd, small chicken flock, working on beagles, it's a ZOO! love to trout fish, camp, all the outside events we can find.
