Below is a picture of my 15 year old grandson and a deer he shot on my ranch late this afternoon.

Nice Buck! That would be called a 5 point in our neck of the woods. Cute grandson to Lazy... must have gotten his looks from... you?  ;)

I took this picture two days ago.  I was taken very close to the above picture.  It's the first bloom I have seen.  It was on January 11th.  I thought I would post it and give this thread a bump.

Does anyone know what this plant is?
