Good Morning Jack  :)  We had our first snow flurry last evening. It's 9:30 this morning at 35 degrees. Too cold for this time of year. Hoping for a warm couple of days to organize my bee shed  :)

I had 60 for a high today. Next 3 days the same weather. 30 day forecast, above normal temps. I love it. My bees love it too.

Not to bad today, 49 this morning and got to 74 for a high today, was going to do some outside work but got a call from the church about a water leak, only a over flowing toilet that the flapper didn't close on but a lot of water to take the wet and dry vac to.

So far the predictions about the El Nino in the Pacific influencing the rain patterns here have been holding.  We've been having nice rains since the season began (first rains in October).  Nice quantities of rain with nice sunny spaces between them. October gave us over 67 mm and so far this month we've had over 59 mm.  At the moment, the rain is coming down at a nice pleasant  pace---enough to warrant an umbrella, but not enough to cause any flooding.  The forecast is for continued rains over the next few days.

I'm all for it.
The bees have worked hard this summer and deserve a few days of vacation inside their hives.

Had one and a half inches of rain yesterday mourning, then it started raining again around 10:30pm. Rained off and on all night in spurts hard and still doing it this morning, water standing everywhere :o. Going to have to buy a bigger rain gage, rain off and on rest of the week ???. I think i heard that one inch of rain would make one foot of that white crap :o thank the lord it's coming down as rain. Hey perry, how's the weather up there. ;D Jack

We're rained in here. Doesn't look like it will end anytime soon, either. What's odd is how warm it is. We still haven't had a killing frost. Cucumbers are still in bloom and the girls are bringing in goldenrod pollen still.

Our dog Copper was whining during the night, so I got up and went to the back door figuring she needed to go out. I called for her and waited a minute but she didn't show up. When I went to get back in the bed, there she was in my spot next to my wife! She almost never goes into our room. :D

Finally got that killing frost last night. Killed off the last of the garden. Still warm enough during the day for the girls to fly. Trying to get a large enough stack of wood to make my sweetie smile-actually a rather ambitious goal.  :)

High of 36F with rain and white crap flurries, :o a little ground cover, but the ground is to warm for it to stay. Expecting highs in the upper 50's all next week. Having trouble getting myself to cut two cords of wood for the work shop, getting lazy i guess. ??? Jack

Good Morning,

Having clear days with highs in the 60's. Girls are flying every afternoon. This is really weird for November but I'm not complaining. Must be some of that El Nino effect. Hope all is well with you all!
