Title: Bulk honey prices

Hi Everyone,
We are looking at selling 50 gallons, in 5 gallon buckets to a guy.  Anyone have a source for current bulk prices?  Thanks, Ted

Bee Culture and ABJ magazines list honey prices according to regions of the country.
The July issue of American Bee Journal lists the following prices for your area.  Wholesale, white honey by the pound is $1.85-$3.60.  Amber honey, wholesale, is $2.00-$2.50 per pound.

The August issue of Bee Culture lists prices slightly different.  I will let you decide which price comes closest to your situation.
Extracted Honey Prices Sold Bulk To Packers or Processors
55 gallon Drum Light Honey  $2.38 per pound
55 gallon Drum Amber Honey  $2.35 per pound

Wholesale Prices Sold To Stores or Distributors in Case Lots Various jar sizes are listed and their pricing.  The 5# jar was the largest listed.
5# jars 6/case $124.70

Thanks bakersdozen!  I found bee sources prices for 2018 but was unable to locate current prices.  Thanks again, Ted
