    Going into my 2nd year and hoping my hives survive the winter.

Thank you for the warm welcome.
   
        I started with 4 nucs, 2 started slow and the other two grew unbelievably,Got two free Italian queens  and made splits off the two strong hives. One absconded about two weeks after transferring to 10 frame deep.

  So at the moment we have 5 hives,3 of them in 10 frame deeps,each 3 deep.and 2 are 2 deep.
 Babying the Italians,the cluster is right at the top eating sugar blocks even though they have lots of honey.

 We did pull somewhere between 70-90 lbs of honey also.
