Now I know where they got the sound of the Enterprise speeding up from in the original series! :)
That looks like one smart machine, I love the fact the motor is on the bottom. I don't know if you will ever need to run that thing at speed 10, that seems awfully fast. 8)

I think you have a winner there.  It has some features that are superior to the ML 9/18.   :)

Ha! Gonna have to live with the high pitch sound.  It is a trait of pulse modulation motors.  ugh.  Anyway, maybe I can find another motor for it someday.  That sound is absolutely obnoxious. 

The motor on the bottom reduces the shake.  I also like the conical bottom so that the honey runs to edges and then out the honey gate which is right at the bottom so you don't have an inch of honey below the gate like my old extractor or others.

That would be too bad no to be able to use speed #10.  That is the only one that the high pitch sound sorta goes away.
