Spent yesterday driving 3 hours away to a keep's place I have met. I bought 4 nucs from him. They are VSH Italian stock. Very gentle, calm bees. Today I placed them all in 8-frame hives. Did me a world of good to be out there messing with them.
Looking for queen
Is she hiding in here?
Cool T-shirt, huh?

Aaah Neil... I know the feeling. Good to see you out there in a nice green field enjoying your bees. Makes me happy

I guess we can tell who you are in the picture.
I'm glad to hear you are getting back into beekeeping.

I shoulda said something. I'm the fat guy without the veil. I bought these bees from Lonnie Perry in Salem Ar. Bees are very gentle and non aggressive. He wears a veil cause he hates stings to the face.
