question: swarm trap vs waspers
« on: April 09, 2017, 05:24:12 pm »
Checked on my swarm traps today and one of them I saw a wasp fly in and not come out. The two wasps most common here are red wasps (paper wasps-bad hombres) and mud daubers (pretty docile). If they build a nest in my trap will it ruin it?

Not sure, but I would go into it and make sure they didn't. Give them the "pressure test" with a hive tool.
I forget who first said that in reference to SHB, but that term kills me!
