North American beekeepers can participate in a citizen science project September 8- 15, 2018. It is an attempt to gather data on mite populations. Three of the largest honey producing states have not had any participants. They are North Dakota, South Dakota, and Montana. This is our chance to be part of the solution!!

From the looks of the map for USA, if a guy wanted to get mites into his hives, the west coast would be a good place to send his hives.
