Title: Brands

It is time to renew our Texas brand, or someone else can use it.

We have to fill out paperwork with our names, location of the ranch, and the brand we use. This is done once every 10 years.

3Reds says it is really difficult to put those teeny branding irons on the bees’ hips. It’s easy to burn your fingers.

i had a neighbor from around the knock on my door very upset because MY bee had stung his daughter. he'd brought the offending bee & i informed him that it was a yellow jacket not a honeybee.
i then told that besides that all of my bees have little blue collars on them. he apologized & left. i have since had 3 more people fall for that one.
