Heads UP! TV program on CNN
« on: March 05, 2015, 08:29:29 am »
Tonight on CNN, 3/5/15, there will be a program Morgan Spurlock: Inside Man entitled "Honey Bee-Ware".  It will air at 8:00pm Central Standard Time.  The show description says that Morgan steps inside the shoes of a beekeeper (or should we say beesuit?)  8) in attempt to find out why the bees are dying. Here is a little promo video.  http://www.cnn.com/videos/tv/2015/03/03/orig-inside-man-morgan-spurlock-bees.cnn
If I am correct, Morgan Spurlock is the Super Size Me guy that did a documentary about eating McDonald's food and becoming unhealthy doing it.

Thanks for the heads up! It is the same guy that did the MacDonald's thing (which I found incredibly interesting).

There were 2 men did reports on McD's. One did a study, and found it bad. The other actually lived on McD's for a year and was healthy and lost some weight, which he wanted to lose.

Guess which CNN, NBC, and CBS gave the most publicity? That's why I won't be watching tonight. It's leftist maniac CNN.

Come on iddee, the number one trait of us bee keepers is having an open mindC:-)  I’m going to try to catch the program.  It’s so darn cold today, there won’t be much else to do this evening.

Yes, Morgan Spurlock is the guy who LIVED on McDonald’s food for a few months.  Actually it almost killed him.  Sometimes visual evidence is more compelling to people than numbers on a piece of paper.

The McDs documentary was called “supersize me” and it was a good watch.  It wasn’t associated with CNN.   I do eat McDs every once in a while and I don’t consider them evil.  Too often it’s the consumers who are not paying attention and who are making very poor choices.  Visual documentaries like this may at least have some chance of reaching those people.  Relative to the other fast food places, I believe McDonalds is the healthiest; but it’s still wise to know what you’re eating.

Thanks for the heads up Bakers. :eusa_clap:  I have seen a couple of his CNN pieces and weren’t overly impressed with his CNN work but I’m going to try to catch this one.

Logic- "Yes, Morgan Spurlock is the guy who LIVED on McDonald’s food for a few months.  Actually it almost killed him.

Yup! I remember reading how eating months of McD's trashed his liver. Not to mention the odor in the morning while on the pot. Colon poison.

Thanks Baker! I'll try and find it over here :D

I didn't see the SuperSize Me documentary.  I guess I am missing something.  It sounds like it was a horrible experience for him.  Hope he has recovered.  I did see Morgan Spurlock on one of those late night talk shows last week.

You have to have a mind before it can be open. Many have said I don't qualify in that category.   :o

I stayed up to try to catch the re-run at midnight and they’re still talking about the plane crashes. :o  Then I saw CNN say they're putting together a special report on MH370 coming up later this month.  CNN sure loves their air plane crashes.

So I watched a little rehab addict and tried CNN again at 1am.  Still no bees.  :'(  I’m going to bed!

I watched the story about the plane crash on my small town tv news program last night. They said everything I needed to know in about 30 seconds. Man! Oh, well! Next time maybe.

Must have been a slow news day....

I was able to search on diredttv for other showings of the program, not finding any, I set it to record any program by that name in the future, so it should catch it when its rescheduled.  :-)

I wonder how many people will come away from last night's programming with the idea that it is plane crashes killing honey bees.

Do a search on you tube. You might be able to find the video there. These news channels pull this stuff all the time. They want you to watch there show first then they put on the schedule show later.
