When my oldest was just a new born and still in the hospital I picked her up out of the bassinet in the nursery. and being all bundled up and lying face down I was holding her up side down. This other mother in the nursery was getting all excited that I was holding her feet up and talking to her, tying to impress upon me that I needed to turn her over. I looked at her and said "She just spent the last 9 months hanging upside down It probably feels more natural than being held with her head up."
