We had the State Apiarist at our bee association meeting last night.  She presented some of the finding of her samples in our state.  One of the things she talked about was some research involving AFB.  She said some of the initial findings were positive of the use of viral phages in destroying the bacteria.  In several hives no evidence for a year.  Anyone familiar with this research?  Not sure if it was ready to go public yet :-[

I found more information through Brigham Young University. Very interesting, to me at least :D
