OK, here's the deal. I am wondering if there are folks out there that like the idea of maybe owning a shirt like this?
Before everyone groans or gets too excited,
this is just a feeler.
If there is interest, I will look into it further, if not, well, I've got a cool shirt.
Some of us (Admin and Mods) have kicked this around a wee bit, and we narrowed things down to this:
T-shirts over hats (lots of folks don't wear hats)
Having seen elsewhere,
if too many options are put out there in the way of colours, styles (hoodies, sweatshirts, golf-shirts), personal names, etc. it becomes overwhelming and will just fizzle out. This is volunteer oriented so keep that in mind.
So, option would probably be......size!White t-shirt as you see it with sizes up to and including XL. Sizes above XL would be an extra $1 per additional X.
The larger the order the lower the cost per shirt, and then there is still the shipping to be figured in. There will be no profit made, or, if members are OK with it, and extra dollar or two could be charged and would go to the forums operating expenses.
This is an idea I had, and is in no way designed to benefit
anyone other than the members.
As far as price, I am
hoping to keep it around $15, but that could easily go off the rails, and would not include shipping to members. I had this "mock-up" done locally and it ran me $25 (vinyl). Bulk silk-screening is the better way to go.
