Hello from Montana
« on: August 05, 2014, 11:18:03 pm »
Hello everyone!  I've been keeping a few hives on and off for the past 20 yrs.  It's been 10 yrs since my last colony.  I captured 7 swarms this year and all is well, except my pocket book!  I'm a little rusty on the subject but a quick learner.  Regards

Welcome. Many of us have stopped and re-started in bees. Some more than once. The bees are still the same. The keeping techniques have changed, tho. Sit back and relax, get ready for the long ride to modern day beekeeping.

Welcome to the forum & swarms have saved you at least $700 dollars in the cost of bees. Do you still have extractors, smokers, veil, or did you need to purchase it all?

I still have everything you listed.  But I'm out one tablesaw motor.  Burnt it out making the wooden ware!
