Bee "haver"
« on: August 25, 2015, 07:45:31 am »
Hello all. My wife and I are new "Bee havers". We have bees that we got from a cut-out in early July, and they seem to be doing well, but I dont think we get to call ourselves beekeepers until we keep them over winter. :)

We are in south western Pennsylvania, near the Ohio river.

Looking forward to learning much here in the forums!

Welcome aboard.  I sometimes wonder it's bee have-ers or behavors.  Like you, I have bees, but do not really consider myself to be a beekeeper.  Instead, I am a a lucky fellow that owns some bees.  Again, welcome aboard.

Hello brian bee. If you "have" bees, or "keep" bees, you are one of us. It's a friendly group we have here, and the one thing we all have in common is our passion for bees.

Welcome.... From a bee "kept" human. I'm convinced the bees are keeping me, rather than the other way around. They have me waiting on them hand and foot.  :o    :D

Yea what Iddee said. The bees seem to survive in In spite of what we do for/to them. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome! Sometimes when I get so busy and I can't check in on the bees for weeks, I feel that I am a bee "haver".

Welcome on joining the "crowd".
Now you'll be able to learn "beehavior".
The frustrating part of the learning is that bees always have surprises for us.
