Title: The ladies are thirsty
Post by: Lastfling on February 09, 2020, 03:02:43 pm
It’s surprising where they decide the bar is. LOL

There’s plenty of water all around - but this is it.  I’ve taken to refilling if the rain doesn’t take care of it.  Also, after running a bee rescue and resuscitation for those staying too late or falling in, I added the sponges.

So far, so good - fingers crossed LOL.  I went into this winter (such as it is) with 3 hives and so far I still have 3.  They have been fairly active on nice days and bringing in quite a bit of pollen.  I’ve planned to go in them several times now but rainy weather, family matters or colder temps have kept me out.  Hopefully, that will change soon.
