I would have invested in a radial extractor. Both of the extractors I've owned over the years were given to me for free, and as they say , beggars can't be choosey, so I took them with a smile. The first was with a galvanized cannister and about 12 years ago was replaced by a stainless steel one. Both were four framers and manually operated. Since I've reduced my holdings over the past several years (only 5-7 hives) and only distribute (don't sell) honey, it wouldn't be practical, (at my current age) for me to invest in a motorized radial extractor. But, when I think about it, if I had had one in 1972, when I first started with bees, it would probably have made my life a lot simpler and even increased my yields.
