Hurricane bees ?

Do bees know a storm is coming ?
Pic, some bees head down, throax up , stinger down. Wings spread but not fanning but doing the waggle dance?

could be mikey, (nice pix). i have always believed that all critters, insects and birds/raptors have a sense well beyond ours relative to weather and extreme weather conditions. observed this for myself many times.

We have the small ants not fire ants.  They were moving up . boxes , bees keep them at bay. They get in a miller's top feeder,  but not a problem . Noticed they were moving up. My straps. I just used to tie down.

I don't remember my bees doing anything strange last year before Harvey.  But then, I was busy getting ready for the blow.

Stay safe.  If you left, be prepared for your return with fuel, water, batteries and lots of cleaning supplies.  Oh, and don't forget to bring back a generator and a chainsaw.

If your staying, It's too late do any further prep work, and our prayers are with you.
