Title: extra queens in a hive
Post by: jb63 on July 03, 2019, 07:27:47 pm
I was checking my honey supers and found one of them was full of capped brood. It was above a queen excluder with a top entrance  above the inner cover. I looked into the double deeps below and there was brood down there too so I split it and added a new honey super. That's the first time I've had that happen. :D

It happened to me once, last year i think, and twice this year.  Eggs above and below the excluder.  Strange.
