stored honey frames
« on: December 01, 2021, 07:55:03 pm »
I put up 15 or 20 frames of honey in comb after running through freezer for 3 days about 16 monthes ago. They are in an airtight container.

I opened today. They look fine but have a smell of some fermentation.

???  what to do now???

Air out and check again. Should be fine.

Agree - if capped comb should be good.

Give it a taste.  If it tastes normal, I'd say it's fine.

Do you know the predominant nectar source of the honey?
