Hi from Texas
« on: September 19, 2014, 11:39:17 pm »
Hi all :)  I'm a new beekeeper (sort of) from Arlington, TX.  I kept bees when I was a kid, many years ago, and since then I haven't had any hives until just now.  One of your forum members (gypsi is her handle here) helped me out with a nuc from a very successful trap-out, and is going to get me some more bees and frames Sunday.  The nuc might not live through winter but I'm going to give it everything I've got, so wish me luck :)  If they don't make it then I'll start a fresh hive this spring.  But I think these bees are strong (knock on wood), so here's to a new hive!
