New Hive today
« on: February 01, 2020, 11:31:20 pm »
We transferred our bees from an older Long Lang to a new one today:

It was 70*F and sunny.  We checked all four of our hives.  All had plenty of honey and nectar and the bees were bringing in white and yellow pollen.  All had brood.  One strange thing was that 3Reds watched the bees pulling a drone out of one of the hives.

We've had a really mild winter so far.

Thanks for posting, Wandering Man.  It's nice to see bees flying this time of year.
