Title: game camera question
Post by: rober on January 24, 2019, 06:11:13 pm
i had a store credit so i bought a 14 MP game camera at bass pro just before Christmas. when i got home i noticed academy sports had the same brand in a 12 MP camera on sale. all features were the same except for the 12MP vs. 14 MP.
how much difference do you think there is in photo quality between 12 & 14 MP's? the bass pro camera was $75.00 on sale. the 12 MP cameras were 3 for $99.00 which is a pretty big difference in price.

You will never notice the difference in 12 and 14 MP.

i didn't think there'd be a lot of difference just thought i'd see if anyone had any personal experience. i looked ay my receipt & the bass pro camera was $79.00 so that's a $46.00 difference per camera. the same 3 pack at academy is now $149.00. i have an older Moultrie that does a decent job but it uses a flash for night photos. i needed some cameras that use infra red for night photos for stealth.

29 dollar difference? Or is my math off again???
Best advice I can give.. DO NOT point the trail cam toward railroad tracks......     I WAS SO EXCITED when I saw I had 167 pictures.......    of a train......

12 MP cameras were on sale at 3 for 99.00 or $33.00 each when I bought them
the 3 pack is now back up to 149.00 so that would be 2
