How come I can figure out how to post pictures, but avatars are just absolutely beyond my capabilities?

It is set at 90 x 90 pixels and 6Kb

Tough for me since most of my pics are HD and even cropping the pic down and them resizing to the biggest side is 90 pixels I am still over 100 KB.

I think a free program like   Paint.net  will resize your pics down to a size usable by the forum. Or perhaps post the phpt on imageshack or something similar and use the appropriate link.

It is now 100X100 and 125 kb. If it don't work, I'll change it back. I have no idea what I'm doing.

Thanks, buzzbee. I can use all the help I can get.

My avatar was reduced from 1.24 megs with paint.net
I will go back in and crop and reduce and try again.

Try it again, buzz. I changed it to 150,000.

GIMP is an excellent open source image manipulation program,  I highly recommend it.     Easily took my avatar down to 90x90.

Hey, Robo. Can you tell me how to set phpbb3 to embed utube videos?

Looks like you need to create a custom BBCode for it.

I'm not familiar with how to do it,  put check this out   http://www.techhelpinc.com/2011/11/01/h ... bb3-board/
