Title: Warre Hive harvest and manipulation
Post by: apisbees on March 27, 2014, 03:35:50 am
Came across this video of a beekeeper managing and harvesting honey from a Warre Hive. I would like to at this time thank, L. Langstroth, Hoffman,  A.I. Root, C Dadant, for giving us the removable self spacing frames we use and love today.

Yes I posted it to educate!! I am not indorsing it at all. There is a modified version that uses top bars in each of the supers But you still need to cut the supers apart with a wire and cut the comb free of the super ends before removing the combs.
