Cut Out Equipment To Take Along

(1/6) > >>

Jen:
Where on this forum is the thread that has all the suggestions for tools and equipment to take along on cut outs, swarms, trap outs?

tbonekel:
I couldn't find it Jen, but we could always ask one of our wonderful moderator's to place a sticky at the top of the cutout section and let us add stuff to it.

Jen:
Let's do it tbone, I find that list to be invaluable, especially for newbee's. I'll send Riverbee a pm  ;)

Yankee11:
Empty Frames,Rubber bands, deep box, bottom board top
Knives to cut comb
Scraper, to scrape comb off wall
Empty bucket with lid, with or without a trash bag, for the honey comb.
2nd bucket for empty comb not being used
Smoker
Bee brush and something to brush bees into, or a bee vac
A table or bench helps to set the hive on and cut comb.
Strap to strap hive together to travel home.

Gypsi:
add a scoop made from a half gallon plastic jug with handle, like a milk jug or juice jug. I sure could have used one and didn't have on my last one.
