Title: Ground work
Post by: jb63 on July 26, 2014, 11:58:03 am
I'm doing some custom work for a neighbor. This ground hasn't been worked in over 20 years and the new owners want to plant Christmas trees.I mow a couple of laps then disc. The little tractor is a 2030 that was my dads.

Quite the field finisher you have behind that Steiger   ;D
Id love to have the 2010 to replace the old Ferguson I use to mow with.   Id like to clean up the fergy and use it in parades etc...     72 years old and still going strong as the day she was built.

Is the water for weight or to help keep dust down?  I assume for weight...  but we'll see where that gets me.

WATER??   I thought, with a tractor that size, it would be a spare fuel tank. That thing has to drink like a Boeing 747.
