16 new chicks... Hope the old ones don't catch onto the fact their days are numbered :-)

Sure wish I could have some chickens, but I am up against 3 things, my honey dosen't want them around, my dogs would kill every one of them, and no good place for a chicken house.

neato zweef! we don't have chickens, but often wish we did, too many other things to take care of, maybe someday!

I have contemplated raising chickens, we eat a lot of eggs. But I have so many other people and critters to take care of for now. I'm with Riverbee... maybe down the road ;)

Jen I could see you as the cochin bantam type! They are little with what looks like a pin cushion on there butt and feathered feet. I think you could do a chicken tractor that would make easy to put on clean grass. If you decide to have a rooster then I would advise 4 hen minimum. If
