Another swarm call today.

This is another swarm I collected today. It was quite big so I tranferred it to a full size hive at the yard.

Great pics. I like it when a swarm is clustered tight like that, it makes the catch so much easier.
Nice architecture on that street.

I wonder why the mouseguard on the hive ?

How were you contacted about the swarm ?       In the UK, most calls to authorities or pest control firms are referred to the British BKA website. There is information about different types of bees. Someone with a swarm can input their postcode and the details of nearest BBKA members who are willing to collect swarms are displayed.

I always use them mouse guards. Most people contact me through social media. I always share swarms pictures and videos.

Love the free ones and may have another swarm a couple miles from here if they have not left yet, waiting on a phone call. That is a nice one you got there....
